My name is Mark Antonuccio. I work as a graphic artist, illustrator and page designer for the Las Vegas Review-Journal, a daily newspaper in Las Vegas, Nevada.,

As a graphic designer and artist for for the Review-Journal, my job requires a variety of artistic skills and a solid knowledge of the more popular artistic design software.

I use Adobe Photoshop CS4 , Illustrator CS4 and In Design CS2 nearly every day. My job tasks include creating maps, charts and illustrations and cartoons. I design pages for the news, business and features sections of the newspaper.

As a designer and artist for a newspaper, I must keep current on news events and be prepared to quickly turn around an illustration, graphic or design that suits the unique nature of the story.

With print publications in decline and web publications on the rise, I have developed skills in web design and web animation. I have gained a good working knowledge of Adobe Flash CS4 and Dreamweaver CS4 and continue to expand my skills by taking classes.

I have a working knowledge of HTML and CSS.

Beyond work, I love the outdoors, especailly hiking with my wife in the mountains and the deserts of Southern Nevada. I also enjoy helping out at Habitat for Humanity, a charitable organization that constructs homes for working families.
